ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Furkan. I was born in 1999 in a small town called Anamur in Mersin. I've had my first ever interest in art with a piano when I was 13. Then I started creating and directing short films with my very first camera. When I was 16 my first short film was runner-up in a nation wide competition named "Dudullu Understanding Mustafa Kemal". Then, when I was 17 my another short film was runner-up in a film festival named "Let's speak, you are not alone" and organised by Yesilay. I've represented my country in that festival. When I was 18 my another short film name "There is a hope" was a finalist in a competition organised by German Embassy.

In my short films I generally use my own compositions as soundtrack. My aim is to continue in cinema and music after graduatiing from university. My ambition is to be a significant figure in Turkish cinema.
